Help NETBILLING Fight Cancer - "A Gateway For A Cure"

Hi All,

I read the boards all the time, but don?t often post on them. I know all of your time is valuable and believe this is important enough to ask for your attention.

Many of us have been touched by cancer one way or another, and Netbilling is participating in an event to fund research, treatment and services to victims and their families. Please take a moment to visit: http://netbilling.com/acs/found1.html and contribute to this worthy cause.

We all have so much to be thankful and appreciative for in this industry and I would like to share our good fortune with those in need of our help.

Thanks for your time - Sarah Farber

Sarah,

I think this is a wonderful wonderful thing you are doing. It hits home with many I am sure, it does for me.
I will gladly help in any which way I can.
When my uncle was found to have cancer that was hard to take, but you must, they had to so you must be strong enough for those you love.
We had a blood drive for him and the people that stepped up to the plate I have to be grateful for. It is in this time you really find out what people are made of and what they are not.
Best wishes to the success of this for you.

Hugs,
tina

You're an inspiration to us all, Sarah! Thank you!

It's too damn easy to get caught up in the everyday and lose the time to even think about what we can each do to make the slightest difference in the world. Thank you for reminding us that we CAN find the time, or at the very least... the money.

I'm glad to get involved in any way I can. Thanks!

Great thing your doing.

I am walking in our local Relay for Life as I done the past 4 years. My mom who is a survivor got us started back when the relay first started. It has a lot of meaning for our family as my dad is fighting lung cancer at this time as well.

I bought a computer to raffle off at the event with all the proceeds going to the ACS. Its a great cause. Keep up the good work.

Hi There,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. We're dealing with it in the family as well. Not looking forward to watching this happen to ANYONE, but an important member of your family is difficult to deal with.

Relay has been around 20 years and I have only been involved for 3. Interesting how hidden things are until they hit you personally. Good luck to your Dad...icq me if you need some personal support or community links.

I know you all have good intentions here, but why would you give money to an agency that has continually promoted poisoning people in order to 'cure' them from a disease?

I hate to sound bitter but the American Cancer Society, the AMA, and the FDA have no intention whatsoever to cure cancer, only to profit immensely from their so called treatment (poison), which ultimately kills as many people as the disease itself. These people are not interested in curing cancer.

"As a chemist trained to interpret data, it is incomprehensible to me that physicians can ignore the clear evidence that chemotherapy does much, much more harm than good."
Alan C Nixon, PhD, former president of the American Chemical Society

"As a retired physician, I can honestly say that unless you are in a serious accident, YOUR BEST CHANCE OF LIVING TO A RIPE OLD AGE IS TO AVOID DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS AND LEARN NUTRITION, HERBAL MEDICINE AND OTHER FORMS OF NATURAL MEDICINE. Almost all drugs are toxic and are designed only to treat symptoms and not to cure anyone. Most surgery is unnecessary. In short, our mainstream medical system is hopelessly inept and/or corrupt. THE TREATMENT OF CANCER AND DEGENERATIVE DISEASES IS A NATIONAL SCANDAL. The sooner you learn this, the better off you will be."
Dr. Allan Greenberg on 12/24/2002

Over 75% of the oncologists polled said that if they had cancer they would never use the same chemotherapy they prescribe for their patients on themselves because of the ineffectiveness of chemotherapy and its unacceptable degree of toxicity.
Los Angeles Times report

Hi There,

We aren't here to judge. Your opinion and input are welcome regardless of our cause and intentions. Quite honestly, I am not a chemist or a physician, do I believe there is a cure to be found? Couldn't tell you. However, the ACS does provide services and resources to victims and their families. This includes, physical therapy, food stamps, child care, education, and many other things to make the cancer victim more comfortable. The research may not find a cure, but it will lead to other answers that parents who have lost children and children who have lost parents will indeed want to know. If one of those answers is that chemo sucks, than at least there is an answer.

My uncle passed away today of prostate cancer, and his widow is in a 3 year recovery from breast cancer. She is asking herself tonight why she got to live and her husand didn't. I hope the research gives her the answer she is looking for.

Best,

Sarah Farber

Sorry Sarah, I'm not judging you either, but I really feel people should be aware of what really goes on and it is sad. Unless someone is actually diagnosed they will never research the truth and even then most of them don't.

Last year I was diagnosed with Renal Cell cancer (Kidney cancer). They found a 10 cm tumor in my kidney that had spread to my liver. The doctor wanted to remove my kidney and part of my liver and go through the usual chemo and radiation. What he didnt tell me is that there was only a 5% survival rate for the stage I was at. I spent hundreds of hours researching cancer treatment, both conventional and alternative. What I found was very disturbing.

There are more people dying from cancer now than ever. Why is this with all the billions being pumped into drugs, research, etc? We all hear about new 'breakthroughs' and drugs, yet more people are dying.

The ACS has NEVER done anything to promote research to determine if any natural methods cure cancer. Anything natural cannot be patented by the drug companies therefore there is no money to be made. Anytime someone comes up with a natural 'cure' they are immediately labeled as quacks and dismissed.

The average cost for treating cancer is about $165,000. It is very big business. 30% of all medical treatment goes to treating cancer. Think about what would happen if tomorrow they found a cure. It would literally ruin our economy and put tens of thousands of people out of work.

In my case I chose a natural alternative route. My doctor told me I was crazy and said I would be dead within months. Well 6 months later the tumor was gone and I never felt better due to the changes I made. I really believe anyone can cure themselves.

It really saddens and angers me to see people like the little girl on your site. I don't know how many people I've known that got the devastating diagnosis of having cancer, listening to their doctor and doing everything they tell them without question, being butchered and poisoned only to end up dead, when they could have had a much better quality of life if they would have only known the truth.

Congratulations on beating the odds. It really is wonderful to hear a success story like yours. I would hate to have to believe all of the things you have said, it would just destroy my faith and hope in humanity. I really work a lot with organizations and I see all of the people who lose their homes because they don't know that foundations out there will help pay their bills while they are too ill to work. Research or not, it's a worthy cause the help the less fortunate financially and with support. Again, congratulations, I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Feel free to email or icq any time.

Sarah

Just a few years ago lung cancer patients had months if not weeks to live after diagonsis of Stage 3-4 lung cancer. Now due to modern medicine these same people are living YEARS after diagnosis and are living well.

The same goes for other types of cancer. The "poison" that is put in the body of these people does work for many and is not the problem. The problem is the poisons we are bombarded with day to day that triggers the cancer in the first place. Whether it be air quality, work conditions (dust, asbestos etc.), or eating habits.

Your more than welcome to come to our local relay and tell the countless "survivors" many who have had there lives extended by 5-10+ years that the ACS has/had no intention of helping them.

Glad to hear you beat the odds with natural alternatives but every individual is different.

Hi All,

Not to be snippy but many posted on this thread that they would support this cause. We have only received 3 donations. We appreciate greatly the few that we received but really need to raise thouands more for this team. We do not care if you pitch in $5 or $5000. All of it will help.

We hope you will be kind enought to reach into your hearts and your pockets to support the Angels with the battle to cure cancer.

Thank you, Mitch Farber
