You are correct, Android is one of the few doing anything with Flash. In order to stream on iPhones (and iPad) you need to use mp4 streaming which the VOD system does through Wowza.

Both require mp4 streaming. The mobile templates are built for all three iPhone, iPad and mobile flash streaming.
