Has anyone else noticed this about Suze.net regarding bogus ref codes?

Has anyone else noticed this about the ref codes that suze.net gives out? They are bogus. Look at this one: http://revex.dhdmedia.com/SuzeNetCas...359&dcdid=1501

When the surfer hits the page, however, and click on 'JOIN NOW' or any other clickable area, the dcwid id defaults to 'XXXXXX'. The cookie with the webmaster ID isn't carried over. That is how Suze.net has such shitty conversions.

i'd like to start certifying sponsors' paysites for being free of traffic leaks, cookie issues, broken links, flaws, etc. thoughts?

Thats a good idea, having a third party check up on sponsors like that.

yea.. i'd have one of our guys run through and certify each site weekly. one of my biggest peeves is pumping traffic to a tour and finding out they changed it and it has new traffic leaks, after wondering why my ratios slipped away.

The same people that run Suze.net's affiliate program also run Erica Campbells and a bunch of other programs. I've always wondered why conversions were shit with companies using DHD Media and now I know. This is really fucking criminal on alot of levels. If these fuckers show their faces at Internext, I shall be looking for an explanation .

I was going to use one of the dhd programs a while back, and noticed this when I first signed up....I emailed them about it, got the "sorry, we are fixing it now" response...and they fixed it with the one example I gave, but more remained

I gave up

would you guys be interested in seeing sponsors get/stay certified? it'd take some pressuring from affiliates for them to get involved

Thanks for the heads up. I WAS going to push a DHD Media site hard. Too bad, they have some good ones.

You guys need to get the facts first before you go off on DHD.

We use them and do not have this problem so we looked into it. This problem is not a DHD RevEx problem. The problem is on the Suze side. They put up a link that is not a program link but an example link. Simple honest mistake that they can easily be corrected. Suze runs a good honest program.

We have had way better conversions than we ever had with our previous program. Others have experienced the same so feel free to ask for references.

Get the facts before you go off.

Suze.net sends out bogus link codes like the one that I posted to affiliates on a monthly basis. Who runs their program? DHD! I don't think its wrong to suspect them of other mistakes, especially with the other Suze.net program, Suze.net Video, which didn't convert either, despite getting a heaping dose of the specialized glamour model traffic which loves that genre.

I'm assuming that you work for Homegrown Video. Might I be correct? Your company has been involved in its fair share of lawsuits, so I highly suggest that shut the fuck up and stay out of this. I can discuss this personally with you at Internext if you like!

I own Homegrown Video. One of the lawsuits I am currently fighting involves redirected links. One of the reasons we are with DHD now is their reputation for integrity and conservative business practices. Anyone that knows the billing gateway industry knows exactly what I am talking about.

You might want to contact DHD yourself and get an answer rather than coming to the boards with your unfounded suspicions and making accusations without basis.

You are obviously not acting in a professional manner now but maybe this can be your first step on the long journey to getting a clue.

Suze runs their program. RevEx is merely the backend. You realize that if this was a DHD problem then it would be a problem for all the others using RevEx which is simply not the case. If it were, a heck of a lot more people would be on the boards railing about it besides you.

Now... If you want to discuss anything at Internext I will be happy to do so - as long as it is mutually profitable.

Definitly... I'm sure you could get some sponsors sponsoring this.

I will add that no company is perfect and there will always be issues from time to time but one of the hallmarks of a good company is how quickly they respond to problems.

In this regard, DHD has been exemplary. And we have become very hard to please based on our past difficulties...

I do agree with Far-L, this is not on the dhd media side but on the suze side, but I also think that with a program of such integrity they should inform suze and get the problem fixed when an email is sent to either parties

when I emailed dhd about the link code problem, like I said previously, they gave me the typical we are on it response...like it WAS their problem...so I felt no need to email the suze people about it

DHD is a completely 100% solid company and has one of the best reputations, mainstream and porn, in this biz....I have worked for them on many different levels, from talent up to other things, and have always enjoyed the company....but, fact remains, everyone does screw up...and suze should be 1. informed about how they are screwing up, and 2. taught how to do it right so that it doesn't happen anymore

no offense, but the 2 times I tried to push anything under dhd it took almost a week to get any response and when I did finally get a reponse it was so vague and non-informative that I just gave up

but as I said previously, I love everything I have ever dealt with DHD, but pushing sites under their program blanket has just never worked out for me....i am sure there are shitloads of people making bank though, this has just been my personal experience...

Thanks Jace, I agree with you 100% - I think if you ask anyone at DHD you will find that they are looking out for Suze and are willing to make her problem theirs in the interest of finding a fast solution to protect her biz.

Well might be a good time to try us to give it one more shot - especially since I heard you know someone personally that is on our site...

Others that switched from our previous program say they get 5 times the conversions - and bear in mind that we were the #1 converter in the old program for years.

DHD is crap. Here's another example of webmasters being cheated:

http://www.ddgtools.com/tools/vid_page_1.html?109359

It initially takes you to a page where the cookie is carried over for all links, but if you click on 'MORE VIDEOS', you get taken to a page, this one (http://www.ddgtools.com/tools/vid_page_2.html), where the cookies are not carried over for any links that allow the surfer to join the site!

that is obviously a mistake, if you check the other links have the referral code carried over

email the stephen hicks webmaster and tell him http://www.ddgirls.com/tour/static/business/

SuzeNetCash, SuzeVideoCash, DHD

Hey Guys & Girls,

Susan Gold here, I'm the affiliate webmistress for Suze.net & SuzeVideo.com. Also for our earlier affiliate program at pics4clicks.com. We've been providing affiliate links and content for 6 or 7 years now. Those of you who have worked with me know us to be pro-affiliate, honest, courteous and straight-forward. We do, from time to time, make minor mistakes, like placing a bad link on one of our JOIN buttons. An unfortunate error, more than likely created by me when I made that hosted gallery for Giana Taylor that caused this post originally. The link has been corrected. I would have responded sooner but I was on the road heading south to spend the holidays with my family.

So here's the deal. We and DHD were informed simultaneoulsy about this error. DHD did a site-wide search at both Suze.net & SuzeVideo.com for any other link errors and NONE were found. It was an isolated incident, and it has been corrected. Considering that we have about 3000 pages online and a few hundred links to our JOIN pages, I don't think that one link pushes us into the column of intentionally trying to cheat our webmasters. We do, however, apologize for the error. I will be happy to make up for it by making a choice photo series or model available to anyone who feels that they have been negatively impacted by my error. I can be reached at [email protected]. Please give me time to respond tho as I will be traveling during the holiday season.

Thanks for keeping us informed! We love to hear from you!

Wishing you the best the season has to offer.

BTW, we have found that some of our best conversions happen by sending traffic to our front pages. If you'd like to try it, let me know what kind of results you get.
