my letter to oppose .XXX
Im here as an adult webmaster to show my opposition to .xxx
This is just a ploy for the "people" that oppose adult entertainment to make a buck on our hard work. This will in no way help children. In fact if you do you studies, no one helps protect children or take down more child porn more than the adult entertainment industry. Given there are the tainted ones that do supply this vile content, just as in any industry, there is a rat. We do everything we can to get rid of such filth. Charging more to do business and segregating adult oriented websites will in no way prevent the children from being harmed. If anything, the separation of websites will only aid in them finding it. Any respectable adult webmaster implement proper script and code to block children from viewing thier site, if the parents have the proper child safeties on thier computer. Not to sound arrogant or whatever you may take from it, but whos job is it to protect thier children. All it takes is a few minutes to install and configure a program from netnanny or another worth while filter program. So many times children are used for the excuse to prevent something when it has nothing to do with them. Yes, there is a problem with the internet and children. It's truely an epidemic. But it is not the adult entertainment industry at fault nor is it thier responsibility. It's the parents. I would say over half of the industry has kids or brothers and sisters that are under age and hate nothing more than pedophiles praying on children. We(any reputable adult industrian) contribute more time and money, take more precautions, make more complaints and simply prevent the transaction of porn to a minor than any other organization or individual. I repeat, this is just a ploy for people not responsible for our work to make a dollar. That is not right.
