Who Sponsored EroticaFest?
Without scrolling down first....
If you attended..... Name the 6 sponsors that threw the party. It is only a test to see if they got their money's worth for branding. Name as many as you can......then once you post...scroll down and read the rest of this thread to see what others posted too. Go....

What were sponsors supposed to get and what did sponsors actually get?
In all fairness, of the few industry parties I've been to, I only knew of the "main" sponsors for each one.

I havent seen 1 comment from any of the major sponsors.
Makes me wonder if they didnt have a deal with the club to profit from the event. They knew the club was charging $10 for drinks, becuase someone from gigacash was walking around handing out drink cards. I still manged to spend over $300 on drinks. They had to have known it was $300 a bottle to be able to sit on the couches, becuase the couches were in the so called v.i.p. area. Someone had posted earlier, that they spent $600 on bottles, and were still made to remove themselves from the couch unless they continued to buy more bottles. Like i said before...There has been talk about how much these events were costing, compared to the amount of business generated from them. It makes sense that a deal was made to profit from "cash filled pockets" of adult webmasters. |

gigacash, epiccash, cecash, cant remember the others.
i only stayed there for about 45 minutes though. no dress codes were posted on the flyer or anything and all i saw was a "rock and roll" type promo video. i figured i would dress nice anyways, but it was like 90 degrees and my friends wore shorts and they got turned down at the door. you wouldnt expect that for a rock show.

Outside of Helmy's companies, I believe none of the sponsors made money from the event itself. I originally looked into sponsoring a party too and got the proposal for this event. It was $6,000 investment. There wasn't anything to my knowledge offered back to the sponsors to make money back on this event.
That most likely was a deal between the party promoter and the club if it was wisely negotiated, not the outside sponsors. Again, I am only guessing. Hey.....let me be clear though....I throw tons of parties...there isn't anything wrong with profiting from throwing a good party....I am not against that at all. It is a lot of work and you should get payback when it pulls off well. If Helmy and/or an outside promoter make bank on it...that is cool...it is business. At the same time, did the party give the branding or direct ROI for it's sponsors....that too is business and that is what I am asking in this thread.

From what I read on the board here it was a pretty fucked up deal to begin with which went completely down the drain on execution.
It strenghtens my believe that I can do more bizz on ICQ, boards and email then on any event.

From all of the threads priot to the show, I looked at my badge as soon as I picked it up. Can someone tell me why everyone keeps saying nine sponsors? I see 10:
HotMoviescom CECash DatingGold Sextronix RealWildGirls Interclimax Webair NWWL Epic JadeCash Is the number nine because two of these are the same company or something?

Also, I'm thinking that they may not have been naked due to drinks being served at the club. I have no idea how those laws work in FL though. Of course, the club owners may have just been pricks and that was too low class for them, even with the name.

Epiccash
Dating Gold Gigacash I can't really remember the rest... I just read the complaint thread and Epiccash and Datinggold were complaining hence the reason I knew they sponsored the event. DH

Seems like no one remembers any of the sponsors of the party anyway...outside of who talked on the boards about this event.

I'm not crazy about not doing business face to face. I guess I just like to see body language and other such things that can't be expressed in virtual space.
